Passport Essentials: A valid passport, with a machine-readable section, and in some cases, an electronic chip.
Schengen Area Security - Criminal Record and Safety Checks: To ensure the safety of the Schengen Area, applicants must not possess a substantial criminal record or present security risks. A comprehensive background check is a requisite step in the application process.
Previous EU Entry Denials: Individuals with a history of denied entry into any EU country may encounter heightened scrutiny or be deemed ineligible for ETIAS.
Age: Under 18 or over 70?

However, those under 18 and those over 70 may find themselves exempt from any application fees, easing the journey for our younger and senior adventurers. Additionally, relatives of EU residents, as well as individuals from non-EU countries with freedom of movement within the Union, may also enjoy this fee exemption.
